Managing Your Troop 222 Emails

Troop 222 traditionally has communicated extensively using email to inform and as a planning tool.

When you join the Google Group(s), if you have a Gmail account, you can change your mail settings to reflect your personal preferences. If you do not have a Gmail account, you can create a Google Account to allow you access the Google Group’s webpage: https://www.google.com/accounts/NewAccount. This is not setting up a Gmail account, but rather a Google Account.

There are four settings:

No Email

The member reads this group’s posts on the web

Abridged Email (No more than 1 email per day)

Get a summary of new activity each day

Digest Email (Approximately 1 email per day)

Get up to 25 full new messages bundled into a single email

Email (Approximately 1 email per day)

Sends each message to the member as it arrives

The other alternative is to advise the Google Group administrator that you wish to change your setting. The Administrator can change your setting for you. Please drop an email to bsatroop222webmaster@gmail.com and we will change your group email setting for you.
